Today I had a follow-up appointment at the hospital for my daughter's ongoing GI issues. Not to delve too deeply into our struggles, but the doc referred us to another specialist, and as a result I needed to obtain a copy of some medical imagery to take to the other doctor. Since I was already at the hospital, I decided to get it done.
Wandering the halls of the gigantic hospital complex looking for the right medical records office, I saw one of those plexiglass boxes where you can drop money in to support programs at the Children's Hospital. How can you not help sick kids? I dropped some money in the box.
